The Confidence Of Crows exhibition at 19, is finally up!
For those of you following me, I’ve been fascinated with birds and dance recently so of course it would eventually come to pass that I would combine them. That’s right, I’ve created a series of dancers with crows/ravens!
Also you may remember that I recently showed this series at the Summer Festival. Now I’m showing them here at my place 19 for the next couple of months.
The Confidence Of Crows Exhibition at 19 is a series of pieces exploring the fluidity of flight and dance using dancers and crows/ravens. There are 8 pieces in the series so far, (not sure if I am quite done yet!) and of course as always, the twist is that these works are not officially finished until you and your avatar interact with them.
The moment you click and sit on the piece it is “finished” and the work is complete.
Another thing I’ve always been interested in is the idea of the space itself being a part of the art piece. I’ve done dark art pieces in cemeteries, and forest spirit types pieces in parks or nature spaces. These works are in the clouds and hopefully an entertaining bit of a puzzle to get through. It’s hard to explain and much better to experience so I’ll let you describe it to me if you are so inclined, hope you like it!
